Yes, massage therapy, manual therapy, and our other offered modalities can be highly beneficial during recovery from an injury. However, it’s important to inform your therapist about your injury beforehand.
A therapy / treatment session includes:
• Personalized Consultation: A brief discussion at the start of the session to understand your needs, areas of focus, and any concerns or preferences.
• Tailored Treatment: A massage or manual therapy session using techniques best suited for your goals, such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point, etc.
• Relaxation and Recovery Tips: Post-session guidance to help you maximize the benefits of your massage, including stretches or self-care recommendations.
Every session is designed to leave you feeling refreshed, restored, and balanced.
Sessions typically last 60 or 90 minutes (depending which service time was booked), and depending on your needs and preferences.
Actual hands-on time is typically 50 or 80 minutes - this ensures enough time for discussion and assessment, and a thorough treatment while focusing on specific areas that require attention.

Most often you can train with a personal trainer even if you have an injury. In fact, it might even be the better choice since the personal trainer will adjust your training routine to your circumstances so that you won't worsen your injury.

While we recommend 3-5 sessions per week to see real change physically and energetically. But, there is no magic number. The number of sessions or classes you can participate in each week will also depend on your schedule and individual fitness goals. It is also just as important to incorporate rest (and recovery), especially if you are new to working-out.
Need more information on when and how to work out, ask a Trainer or book in a Private / Personal Training session.

Treatment varies greatly on personal needs, pre and existing conditions, goals, lifestyle, and if there's an injury involved.
Generally, most conditions see improvement after just 1 session, with 2-5 sessions being a common treatment plan. Many conditions or injuries are years-in-the-making so effective treatment requires time and participation.
Long-term, once a month is a very good wellness maintenance schedule. Every 2-3 months if dealing with chronic issues that have been addressed. And every 6 months for a wellness check-in and assessment. Everyone is different, do what feels best for you.
Working out at Webster Body Therapy 3-5 times per week will result in feeling motivated, confident and ready to take charge in a matter of just 2 weeks, but we highly encourage a consistent workout or active lifestyle that will optimize results for you in a minimum of 2-3 months.
