Understanding the cause of your pain is critical to protect against it. We tailor our manual therapy approach to your injury and lifestyle, using a combination of techniques that include Fascia Manipulation, joint and other soft tissue manipulation, muscle activation, and dry needling to accelerate your recovery and manage your pain.

Fascia Release

Fascia release is a form of massage where the therapist uses their hands to release tension and stiffness in the connective tissue (fascia) with the aim of increasing mobility and reducing pain.

How does it work?

The therapist finds areas of the connective tissue that are stiff or fixed and applies light to moderate pressure to them. This pressure 'loosens' the connective tissue and makes it more elastic.

Fascia release is good for:

  • Increasing mobility and flexibility

  • Reduce pain and stiffness

  • Improve blood circulation

  • Speeding up recovery after injury

Joint manipulation

Joint manipulation is a manual technique where the therapist gently extends a joint to its outer position and then gives a quick, controlled impulse. The joint surfaces are pulled apart, which can produce a clicking sound.

How does it work?

The treatment is gentle and performed with the hands. The therapist focuses on areas of reduced mobility and pain.

Ledmanipulation är bra för att:

  • Increase joint mobility

  • Reduce pain and stiffness

  • Improve function and stability
